new obsession:j brand love story

J Brand Lightweight Lovestory Jeans
Picking these bad boys up today. I'm over the 7 for all Man-Kind, too much stiching on the pockets. comes off as offensive and showy. These are much more up to date, flattering, and very under the radar! Perfect.

annoying couple item #1:

I'd like to start a new theme on here, hopefully a daily occurance. Adam and I say things to eachother that would make me vomit if:

a. I wasn't one of the two people in the realtionship
b.If it was any other people besides adam

I've recently started calling him "bug" and he has started calling me "cakes" as in:

"I love you bug."
"I love you too, cakes."

OUCH. It sounds so much worse in dictation. Love will make you do crazy things.

Mike have 3 straps in the front, a much more solid wooden heel, and larger platform in front. Think a hippe-esque pair of YSL's. Hobo stripper if you will. This picture doesn't do the ones I got jusitce---just a mere outline of the color!

Spray Tan 101

I found this little gem on Allure Magazine's website. I am a HUGE fan of sunless tanning: your skiny doesn't dry out, its quick, cheap, and instant. I'm also impatient and hate waiting around, PLUS no side effects like wrinkles and sun spots. Read Hatton's tips on how to get that sunless glow with little mishap!

Insiders' Guide How to Get the Best Spray Tan

An Interview With Susie Hatton

Hatton is the founder and owner of Chocolate Sun Studio in Los Angeles.

By Danielle Pergament
My advice on getting a spray tan is always to err on the light side. More self-tanner doesn't just mean a deeper tan—it's also more likely to streak.

· Prepare yourself. The morning of your appointment, use a nonoily scrub to exfoliate your skin, particularly the knees and elbows (which tend to absorb more tanner and turn dark), as well as the neck, chest, shins, and face (where the skin is thinner and streaks show up). Coat any scabs or recent scars with Vaseline, and if you use Retin-A (or an over-the-counter retinoid) or take Accutane, talk to your doctor about going off it one week before your appointment. These can affect how the active ingredient, DHA, is absorbed, which can lead to a splotchy tan.

· Dress for the occasion. This is not the moment for your nice lingerie. Wear a thong that you don't mind ruining (most tanners wash out, but better safe than sorry) or the paper one provided.

· Go it alone. Spray-tan booths tend to be less expensive than an application by a technician, but the color won't be as even, and you might not catch any mistakes. If you're using a booth, put a light layer of lotion on the soles of your feet, between your toes and fingers, and on your palms, knees, and elbows; this will ensure a smoother tan. After the tanner has been sprayed on, look for drips or pools and gently blot them—never wipe. To avoid tanning the soles of your feet, stand on a towel in the booth, and when you step out, wipe your feet on another towel.

· Look sharp. Even if a technician sprays on the tanner, it's still a good idea to check her work and make sure there are no splotches. Once your skin is totally dry, which takes at least 20 minutes, put on loose, dark clothing, and skip the bra for the next six hours—if you can.

· Make it last. It's best not to let your skin get wet for eight hours. Don't exfoliate for at least a week, shave your legs as infrequently as possible, and moisturize from head to toe after you shower

crazy girlfrieds club.

When does Facebook stalking become unacceptable? When you see some girl writes on your boyfriend’s wall and you throw a fit, even though he is with you, and loves you, and thinks you are the most beautiful girl in the world. It’s enough to drive a half-sane girl crazy.

Twitter is another story, it’s up to date and down to the minute snapshots into someone else’s life. It gives you the option to stalk: who are they with, what are they do, why wasn’t I invited?

It becomes obsessive, a culture of being sub-par in real life, and ordinary on the web. Someone “de-friends” you on Facebook and it stings, or unfollows you on Twitter because you didn’t interest them enough or you annoyed them. If you friend someone and they delcline, you ask yourself why? Was I not pretty enough, skinny enough, rich enough? It’s a superficial world – one that I admitted ably have been sucked into head first. I check my friends to see if what they are doing is better than what I am, I check in on my boyfriend to make sure he’s not doing anything sketchy behind my back: and let me state this: my boyfriend is the most loyal, down to earth, exceptional, most handsome, loving, understanding, and caring man that I have EVER met. He is perfection to me, so why do I feel the need to check up on him if he’s definitely NOT doing anything wrong? I feel the need to, because I can. Once I do I make up these horrible scenarios. Who is that, why are they writing that, what happened here, what’s going on in that picture. I can even back track and look at his heinous ex-girlfriend’s, but why? Why would I want to inflict something upon myself that will make me upset. Once again, becuse I can. So here's to a new start: I'm going to try and use my social networks as portals for my creativity, my work, my social skills. Not to check up on the people I love and trust most in my life. Facebook and Twitter were created to BE FUN! and I've let myself strip out the fun into a complusion. CHEERS to starting over: -- Ohhhh technology how I love thee.

Note to Adam: I love you more than anything & maybe this will give you some insight into my annoying tactics. You are the god and the weight of my world. xx.

Macy's Friends & Family Sale! xoxo.

I've come to love and adore Macy's. Not just because we don't have a Nordstrom, Saks, Barney's or Bloomies, but because the one I frequent in Milwaukee used to be a Marshall Fields(better known for having HIGH quality over store quantity). It has a mix of middle/up-scale-ish (Hudson, Rachel by Rachel Roy, French Connection, Kensie, BCBG,Free People, Rick and Skinny, Young Broke and Fabulous...)you get it...young desiners for my gengeration that are both affordable, on trend, and of good quality. Then they also have your marmish gear, trashy gear, and a decent shoe department. Purses - not do much - I can't stand Coach of Dooney & Burke and barg on Kate Spade.

I do love their jean selection though. I've accumulated enough jeans that cost over $200 to last a lifetime, but has neglected to spluge on any recently. I've been super into skinny jeans for the last few seasons, but as I posted about before, I need the Seven for All Man-Kind Ginger bellbottoms, and today they will be mine!

BEHOLD: the Macy's Friends and Family ---25% off virtually everything. The link is below just pring out and shop away:

( -- Star stylist Nicole Chavez, who collaborates with celebrities like Rachel Bilson, Kristen Bell and Scarlett Johansson, tells you the key pieces every woman should have in her closet.

Black blazer

"A tailored blazer is classic, feminine and looks great on all body types. Pair it with anything: jeans, little dresses, trousers, skirts. Make sure to find one that fits you well and accentuates your waist--you don't want it to look like it's swallowing you!"

Leopard print scarf

"Even if you're wearing a basic T-shirt and jeans, use accessories like a printed scarf as the 'bright' piece to complete your look."

Red Flats

"Black is the obvious choice, but red flats provide a pop of color and work for every season. I love to pair them with a striped shirt and a trench coat."

Striped Shirt

"This timeless classic is having a comeback. It looks great paired with brights or prints or peeking out from underneath a blazer."

Statement Necklace

"I believe in having basics in your closet and playing with your accessories. The statement necklace can make a simple outfit look strong and feminine."

Little Black Dress

"Every woman knows she should have a little black dress, but it's important to invest in one that's special. Look for a dress with a detail--an interesting sleeve, an embellished belt--that makes it unique. And remember that finding the right fit is important!"

Black Opaque Tights

"A great pair of tights can make your legs look slimmer and help you get away with wearing a dress that's a little too short. Double them up for a more opaque look -- and to keep you warm in the winter!"

Oversize Watch

"A watch is as much an accessory as it is a timepiece. A gold watch is a great way to dress an outfit up -- try leaving it loose so it looks like a bracelet."

Flared Jeans

"This is a flattering shape for most body types. Pair them with platforms or wedges to get extra height while keeping the look casual and comfortable."

Classic Trench

"Think of this as an investment piece -- you'll wear it forever, even if you fluctuate in size. Look for a classic A-line silhouette that will cinch you in at the waist and wear it over everything from suits to jeans."

...and it's that days that leave you with a frowned in face that make you want to smile again. We smile, we laugh (real or fake),get annoyed, angry, and we get on with it.

Deep Thoughts

"Whenever I see an old lady slip and fall on a wet sidewalk, my first instinct is to laugh. But then I think, what if I was an ant, and she fell on me. Then it wouldn't seem quite so funny." -Deep Thoughts, Jack Handey

Reblogging Kirbie!

I met Kirbie out in LA through my BFF from Arizona State, Michelle. Kirbie has an amazing website: She posts about her life, job, hopes, dreams, and is an amazing storyteller (you might have even seen her on CSI: Miami or Melrose Place). Well this weekend Kirbie threw her BFF a bridal shower/bachelorette party and made these cookies---HERSELF! They are sassy that is for sure, I love them! Booty booty booty booty rockin' everywhere.

Yes. I did this at work. Yes that is Adam.

Adam and Baby's Day Out.

Yesterday le lovely boyfriend and I got to hang out with my co-workers in a private suite at the Brewer's game. It was the Brew Crew vs. the Pirates, a team we beat 20-0 the week before, making U.S. history as the biggest shut out since 1901--or something ridiculous.

Co-workers have children, children love Adam. I came back form the rest room to find this little baby sitting on all 243 pounds of Mr. Grimm. She climbed up there herself and was staring at him with googly eyes, probably how I looked at him in that dingy bar the first night we met (haha).

Hey babe, you're putting in daddy practice a little early. So precious.

Molly in a list of twentyseven things.

I’ve written lists before about why “I’m the life of the party”. For the time being I’d like to think that those days of all-nighters and cheap wine have gone, and died a beautiful death. I’m still fun, don’t get me wrong, but there are more important things in life then bar crawls and staying up until 4 a.m.I am perplexed by how I was once able to do that…oh to be 21 again (yes, it was only two years ago). I strive to find a job that I love as much as it loves me. I've been out of college since August with almost a year of working under my belt, but I simply: Just want more.

More: responsibility, challenge, stress, creativity, say, work...

So, pull up a chair and read the reasons why YOU should hire ME.

I’ll state the obvious:

1. Hardworking
2. Determined
3. Well spoken
4. Well dressed (it’s true)
5. Intelligent
6. Capable
7. Empathetic
8. Driven
9. In LOVE with social Media
10. A Natural born problem solver.
11. Hyper-organized
12. Ambitious

While those might be great, these actually matter:
13. If I can’t do, I want to learn, and am easy to teach.
14. If you sell me on it…and I love it…I will sell it…and THEY will come
15. I believe in getting what you give. If you don’t put in the hard work, you won’t see the pay off.
16. I work hard and play hard. What is the fun in life if you can’t do your job with a smile?
17. I’m hungry for success. I want to do things. BIG THINGS.
18. I will take risks. Legal risks. I try to avoid law enforcement at all costs-they give me anxiety.
19. Blackberry, iPod, iPhone, Mac, PC, Office, Word, PPT, Excel. I grew up in the age of technology I’m the at this stuff.
20. I can write. Read. And do arithmetic.
21. I’m friendly, social, and I like to talk a lot—definition of a people person. I love hearing what others have to say—even if I have an opinion that differs, and I’m not afraid to voice it.
22. I fully immerse myself into everything I do.
23. I don’t lie, cheat or steal.
24. I will tell you if you’re having a bad hair day, or your outfit is whack. (yes, those pants make you look fat...)
25. I’m simply me. There is no front. What you see is what you get. Though I’m not as dumb as I look.
26. I love the internet: Twitter, Blogger, Facebook. I am addicted to checking blogs: fashion, tech, social media, literature…you know it it’s on my blog roll.
27. If you need to know UP TO DATE (like we’re talking up to the minute/second) celebrity gossip…I know it all, and I’m not embarrassed.

She is: a style icon. beautiful. and again...ICONIC. I'm just not sure I love any of these photos. The bright red dress is a vision though. She is just coming across as old and overdone. Holy airburshing on the cover, she does look quite radiant.

This feels wrong writing this...

Verdict: She wins just because she is SJP/Carrie.
